WORKSHOP “THE INTERPLAY BETWEEN COGNITIVE AND MOTOR REHABILITATION IN PARKINSON DISEASE”
On September 15 and 16 the Department of Parkinson’s Disease Rehabilitation directed by Dr. Giuseppe Frazzitta at the Moriggia Pelascini Hospital in Gravedona (Como) - a Center belonging to the Fresco Institute Network of Excellence in Italy – has organized a two-day workshop with world-renowned speakers dedicated to the importance of rehabilitation for Parkinson's patients.
The conference is open to Neurologists, Geriatricians, Physicians, Nutritionists, Doctors of General Medicine, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Graduates in Motor Science and Nurses.
The aim of the workshop is to show the interplay between cognitive functions and motor symptoms, the scientific evidence of neuroplasticity induced by exercise and the role of drugs in rehabilitation.
